The thinking behind PXM Consulting.

Founder Statement

I started PXM Consulting because I kept seeing the same pattern: talented founders and teams stuck not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked structure. The raw material for success was there—vision, capability, market opportunity—but without operational clarity, it couldn't translate into sustainable progress.

My background is unusual. I've worked in strategy consulting, built products, managed operations, and shipped code. This range gives me a perspective that pure strategists or pure operators often lack: I understand both what should happen strategically and what actually happens when people try to execute.

When I engage with a client, I bring all of that context. I'm not here to deliver a deck and disappear. I'm here to think alongside you, help you see your situation more clearly, and build the systems that let you move forward with confidence.

Philosophy of Operational Clarity

Clarity precedes strategy

Most operational problems aren't really problems—they're symptoms of unclear thinking. Before we can solve anything, we need to see it clearly. That's why every engagement starts with deep discovery.

Systems should serve humans

The best system is one people actually use. I design for the team you have, not an idealized version. Elegance matters less than adoption. Sustainability matters more than sophistication.

Simple beats complex

Complex systems break. Simple systems adapt. When I design processes and structures, I optimize for resilience and comprehensibility, not comprehensiveness.

Progress is iterative

Operational improvement isn't a one-time project. It's an ongoing practice. I help build not just better systems, but better capability for continuous improvement.

What Small Teams Need

Small teams operate differently than large organizations. They need different things from a strategic partner.

  • Speed over perfection. You can't wait six months for a strategic plan. You need clarity now, with room to adapt as you learn.
  • Pragmatism over theory. Academic frameworks rarely survive contact with reality. You need approaches that work with real constraints.
  • Partnership over prescription. You know your business better than anyone. You need a thinking partner, not someone who tells you what to do.
  • Sustainability over heroics. Working harder isn't the answer. You need systems that let you work sustainably at the pace required.

Why I Built PXM Consulting

After years of working inside organizations—watching talented people struggle with problems that had clear solutions—I realized I could have more impact on the outside. Not as a traditional consultant who swoops in with generic frameworks, but as an embedded partner who learns your context and works alongside you.

PXM exists to give founders and small teams access to the strategic clarity and operational rigor that used to be reserved for companies who could afford Big Four consultants. The work is the same. The relationship is more direct. The impact is faster.
